David Bowie, in concert, just said his own name. This is significant. It is pronounced BOWie, as in bow tie. Not as in the bow of a boat.

Was there a question about the pronunciation? Of course it is BOWie. Bow, like rhymes with ho. As in Ho Bag, or Dirty Ho.
